Wayne Warriors set to battle the Buccs

The Wayne Warriors travel to Xenia's Cox Field for a GWOC battle friday night. The Buccaneers look to take the next step towards a playoff run and to find a way to beat the Warriors for the first time in a long time. The Warriors have won every meeting since 1992, and the past five by an average of 29-11. Players to watch Xenia: Cedric Tolbert (53 carries 273 yards) Rudy Jones (52 carries 424 yards) and Mark Walker (61 carries and 479 yards). Xenia's O-Line is anchored by Ohio State commit Ben Pearson, and running the Xenia offense will be Josh Cousins (56 attempts 24 completions 203 yards 5 td and 2 int).

Wayne will need big game from David Day, OSU Commit Marcus Freeman and the rest of the Wayne D-Line to keep there offense in the game. On the offensive side of the ball the Warriors need another big game from Thomas Mouser (79 carries 486 yards)and Quarterback Matt Whited (82 attempts 51 completions 546 yards 4td and 2 int) will need to connect with WR Greg Orton and the sleeper WR Billy Viers. Marcus Freeman chooses Buckeyes over Norte Damn and Michingan
 
Marcus Freeman made his school of choice known today in front of his classmates, teammates and parents. Marcus recieved his Army All-American Jersey for the Army All-American Game to be played on January 3rd on NBC in San Antanio, Texas. After recieving his Jersey Marcus held out 3 hats being Michigan,Ohio State, and Norte Damn. In a attempt to tease the large crowd on hand to see Marcus make his choice. Marcus talked about each school, which showed alot of class and maturity. In the end Marcus choose the Bucks. "Ohio State was the school for me in my heart" said Freeman. "you know when you go to Ohio State your going to compete for the national championship every year". Good Luck Marcus you have a bright future ahead of you.
